Honda’s 0 Series EV SUV & “Super-Cute” Compact EV Are Headed to Japan Mobility Show 2025 — I’m In!

Honda’s turning the dial up for Japan Mobility Show 2025. We’re getting an entry-level Honda 0 Series EV SUV and a Compact EV Prototype that follows the adorable “Super EV” vibe I love for Japan’s cities. There’s also talk of a new electric two-wheel concept, and even a sustainable rocket on the stand. Yes, a rocket.

The Honda 0 Series SUV — Entry-Level Electric Done Right

Honda’s 0 Series has been about thin, light, smart EVs, and this new entry-level SUV aims to make the lineup more accessible. If it sticks close to the earlier 0 SUV prototype, expect clean lines and real-world practicality instead of sci-fi fluff. Count me in.

The Compact EV Prototype — Super Cute & Perfect for Japan

Honda’s also bringing a Compact EV Prototype, evolving the “Super EV” idea into something small, rounded, and city-friendly—exactly the kind of car that can thrive on tight Japanese streets. Honda says it’s testing this in Japan, the UK, and parts of Asia with a “fun to drive” focus. Sounds promising.

All new Prelude looks nice (But Not My Focus)

A facelifted all-new Prelude will become the “prelude” for future Honda specialty sports models, but my eyes will be on the full EVs at the JMS.

Electric Motorbike & Sustainable Rocket Concept

Honda’s official JMS page lists an electric motorcycle concept model alongside the EV Urban Concept (electric scooter) and CUV e: battery-swappable scooter. If the new concept shows up, I’ll be all over it.

Honda will also exhibit the experimental sustainable rocket that performed VTOL tests in Hokkaido this summer. Wild cross-pollination of tech, and I’m here for it.

Honda’s EV Future Looks Bright

Between the 0 Series SUV, the cute Compact EV, and all these wild concepts, Honda seems more serious than ever about its electric future. The Japan Mobility Show 2025 is shaping up to be a major moment for Honda—and I’ll definitely be checking out these new EVs and that rocket in person.
